Best way to make a CD-R portfolio?

Mon Oct 19, 2009, 9:44 PM
So I need to make a portfolio either on CD or DVD for a couple schools I'm applying to.

I know the least costly way would be to just "throw the files" (burn) directly on disc, but what are some programs (preferrably free) I can use if I want to add like interface/presentation/slideshow options to it? It would also be nice if such programs allowed me to add text, as the schools I'm applying to need an inventory (descriptions of my files) of my images.
